Scottish & Southern Energy (SSE): Confirms Nuclear Exit

BusinessGreen: Scottish and Southern Energy (SSE) will sell its stake in a nuclear joint venture to concentrate on renewable energy and carbon capture and storage, the company said today. SSE’s move follows Siemens decision to cease building nuclear power plants following Germany’s decision to phase out the technology by 2022.
